Yes folks, che' Strika has been relocated to a more palacial abode. We are now about 1 or 2 klms from the old place,just down the road in Newport. Che' strika now has loads more room available to spread out the shit our family accumulated over time.
The place is fully alarmed and even has a separate office out near the workshop!
We have five more rooms now, plus.........the added bonus of a large workshop including a large old solid wood work bench!!! Happy days!
It was an insane move! We are a family of 5 normally n we have a nephew living with us semi permanently at the moment making 6 plus two puppies. Plus, work committments were to force a tight schedule. With work in Sydney before n after the move, so basically I had Thursday,Friday and today to get everything done. Knowing that today was going to be wet, that left 2 days to move everything.
We started at 6am thursday, fell asleep about midnight then into it again friday morning at 5.00 and finished at 11.00 last night just before the rain came. Today was moving everything around and starting to unpack the basic essentials, like kitchen bathroom n of course the workbench
I am back off to Sydney for 8 days 1st thing in the morning for work again, and am looking forward to the break !!!
When my feet touch the ground we might even sort a housewarming party!
