Fekin' GST. How many times do we have to pay bloody tax in this bloddy country, and our roads are still shit. Don't get me started.

Well it just recently changes.

U dont have to pay GST or duty on anything valued up to $1000AUD. The $1000 also includes the frieght component.

So if an item is worth $20 and cost $10 to freight u dont have to pay Duty or GST.

If an item is worth $20 and cost $981 to frieght (bringing the total value to $1001) then they will evaluate it and make a decision on whether u have to pay Duty and GST. Most of the time the decision is Yes. :)

The duty component may reflect the VAT percentage and they apply GST onto that.

In short, if it under $1000AUD then ur ok.

VAT should only be included for orders within UK (17.5%), will be up to import customs to collect Aus duty & as said under $1000 it won't apply.

Also note that the site is Spewie based, aimed primairly at the Bandit. Not sure if they only do Spewie connections or cater for other makes.
