rego definately changes with capacity in victoria

my cbr250 was about 370, then my gsxr750 was around 450... pretty sure it will be 500+ on the 9R

So its $501 at the moment no matter what you ride. I guess well end up paying more than cars soon as we sit on our hands and do nothing about it. I did here a long time ago when bikes got hit with the first huge increase in the tac premium that it was to put more adverts on TV for motorcycle awarness but It should be the cars copping that raise not us bike riders.

I have also notice the bias against us bike ridders on the news, there has been a few deaths down here invoving motorcycles in the last few months, but it seems when a car is at fault it is never said who was at fault but when its the motorcycliest its blasted over the news. god this shi ts me
Had my whine 8)

its cause of MAIB... or Crashing Tax
in tas, bike rego for any size is something like $45, MAIB is about $300 for 6 months!

Rego is completely different depending on the bike!

The TL for duane was like 560 or something rediculous
the 750 was about 480 - 500
and my 250 was only 360 this year

:D

You will just have to wait till they send it and get a suprise

oh and rego is different depending on your car too!

I had this arguement about a week ago with a girl at work she thought they were all exactly the same - so i found four different car regos all due this month and they were ALL different! Two of them were for the same sort of vehicle except one was a ute and one a sedan and they were different.
