Question on fairing screen?

Post by rocketrod »

I bought a puig screen off ebay for my Z750.It looks the goods but i have a couple of questions.
1st is,the fitting instructions are in french,so means nothing to me,although i pretty much get the jist of how to fit,but in the kit there is two little clear plastic nipples with adhesive on the backside of them.
Are these to be used as spacing between the screen and the cowling?
2nd question is,i think the screen is a bit too high and looks gorky, what i want to do is cut about 3'' of the top of the screen. What is the best way to cut it without stuffing it up or cracking it?I was thinking a disc grinder?
Any suggestions????
