Suspension people in Sydney

Post by MrStompy »

Can anyone reccomend a good suspension person/shop in sydney.

i want to get my bike set up so i know its the best it can be for my weight etc.

i had a quick look through a few of the other threads in this section but didnt have any luck.

hopefully i can get a good base setup for it then i can "experiment" a little after that.

have you considered just adjusting stock stuff to your weight before you go to someone who will rip it out and replace it with whatever brand of valve emulators they (sell) use (ohlins, race tech, penske etc).

its not cheap

might be alot cheaper option

I'm with Phil on this one. The problem is that alot of people don't know how to set up, and what differences are felt with different adjustments. I find the hardest thing is knowing how to correct a problem you have. Frank Ponze at Biketek is very good. He's out near Campbelltown.

I agree and thats what the guy at Windsor would do....

and Hoffy, we've been talking about a suspension setup and ride day for a while but never got around to it. I think we ended up doing most ppls suspension one at a time..
Then a lot of my hard work went up in flames..

Saturday may be an option as its the young boys birthday on Sunday..

I was thinking about doing a trip up Bells Line on Sat to test out my recently setup suspension that dude out at windsor is pretty good , just haven't had a chance to test it out yet. And it'll be the last ride before the 7 gets its new colours, its getting stripped next week.
Anyway anyone want to come for a ride ??

Just spotted the post & am wondering what settings you got for the front
of the ZX7? And what colours are you going for? Also I am up for a ride
on the Bells LIne anytime.
