Ask Rob about the GOAT!
It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

Yeah the old flick the kill switch while moving is a good one.
Neka i don't know if your model blade does it but on the 954's it takes like 10 secs for the thing to reset b4 it will start again.

I was taught it was a good idea to use it mostly because of weight transfer at the entrance to corners which wouldnt be a issue on some bikes, and I have found there are times it does more harm than good.

you come into a corner a bit hot you can get onto the back brake a bit and use it right through the corner if you have to but on more than one occaision i have got onto it a bit much and locked up the rear-this is not good i tell you.

The bike will definetley stop faster if you apply the rearfirst then the front but as i make changes to my bike in suspension and tyres i am going more towards push harder into the corner and leave the brakes well alone.

Good post Beryl, thanks mate. I must admit on the ride to PI & back (be it only from ACT) I got to try a few different techniques following different riders on different Scoots. By examining their tyres after each days ride i was also able to see how a few were scrubbing off speed with the front tyre (which also led to some scary moments for them in the wet which i observed first hand). I was braking too hard n not carrying enough entry speed on the way down but was able to work on this to be more confident on the way back. Big Kev (04zx12r 170rhp) has priced an sp2 & a new 04 blade cause he couldnt get it out of corners quick enough. hehehee.
Still Breathing so I'm still Learning.
