Where to get tyres (shinkos) in Sydney

Post by mike-s »

Hey, just trying to see if i can find a place in Sydney that stock shinko's and if so, " 'ow much?". I figure Narellan Kawa probably have them, but they are closed at the moment (after 5:30 on a friday!) so i can't give them a shout to find out.

Basically i have a particular bike i want to buy, the only snag is its rego has lapsed and the rear is shot, so i cant get a roadworthy & rego it and then limp it home to get a replacement rear.

My only options seem to be either the guy im buying it from throws on a pair of half used cheapies, or i get hold of a pair of shinko's or something and have them fitted instead, and make do for a while until my wallet is no longer empty.

ideas anyone? the sooner i get the tyres and it rego'd, the sooner im back out on the roads causing havock!!

See the other thread for that Glen. I'll give him a call tomorrow, but i suspect that Craig's got me sorted out, he's offered a good price on bt014's or shinko 003's (he doesnt do 005's, thinks they get too unbalanced too easily) and said he would ship the tyre to the guy with the bike for nuthin for me (how good an offers that?)
