Custom Plates
G'day guys,
Well i shall be getting the 636 soon, and i have checked the Tas Rego web site and it seems every plate i want to get i pretty much choices i have are:
ZX636 - $100 ($50 plate+ $50 year)
Ninja - $300 ($200 plate + $100 year)
ZX6R - $300 ^^
ZXR - $300 ^^
these are the main 4 i would prob choose. What do u guys surgest... I am thinking either Ninja or ZX636, the good thign about ZX636 is tas biek plates are 2 letters and 3 numbers which will make it cheaper! but won't look as good as Ninja

i think thats a bit harshI-K wrote:To put this in perspective, Kishy had a personalised plate...
...am I alone in thinking that every personalised rego plate might as well read IMTOOL?
i have personal plates, and im not tool...
it depends why your getting them, if your getting them to be a bling poser then yeh tool.
if your getting them because you want them, something to make your bike more personal, something a bit funny or a personal joke with mates, not a tool.
i reckon you should get ninja, as it is able to be moved between bikes.

I'm with you on this one Kel. Doesn't make you a tool just a personal touch to something you love... I would get Ninja as well.![]()

Here they like to keep hold of the money. If you own it you can sell it, and Transport Tas would miss out.blackninja wrote:how does that work once you bought the plate do ya have to pay extra each year to keep it, if so thats a rip off here in qld i think it goes once you buy it thats it yours, i reckon moneys better spent on important stuff like tyres etc.
I got custom plates for my car this year so the big expense is done. Next year its only a hundred bucks and its not due at the same time as the rego, so it shouldn't hurt too much.
