Welcome Jess.

I assume that's you in the picture? If you start posting pictures like that around here, you'll certainly make friends fast! Some faster than others... right Neka?

How was it being on the grid? Do you follow the bikes normally? It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on your involvement in the GP and if you are interested in sharing, you should start another thread.

One and the same?

Good to see Kawasaki spending some money on some attractive umbrella girls. Anyone remember the very unattractive Honda girls from a couple of years ago?

I mean, there's plenty of unattractive people in the world (I'm not exactly an oil painting), but if you are going to hire people for a specific job (and it's not all about holding the umbrella) then you should hire the right people!

What, had to have had plastic surgery, have had copious amouts of dental work, be good at fake smiles and have an I.Q less than your age ? *

Kawasaki would be better spending the money on more competitive bikes, or an even better rider

* this description came from someone I know who used to work for Lucky Strike Suzuki. She was asked to help out as a brolly dolly once and once was enuff.

My point is, the girls aren't hired to be ultra-intelligent and required to have an intimate knowledge of the internal workings of a MotoGP bike.

They are hired because they look good at holding umbrellas. End of story. I'm sure plenty of them are also intelligent women who do more than model for a living.

Having attractive people on the grid adds to the wow factor that is MotoGP.

At the end of the day, it probably wouldn't matter if they weren't there at all, but since they are, they may as well get the right people for the job.

I can't imagine that the Chippendales would have made as much money as they have over the years if all the blokes looked like your average KSRC member!

I agree...............the girls add an extra touch of class to the event. In a way they signify the female shielding her warrior mate from the weather who is about to battle his foes.

I just wish i was one of those warriors.

Any ladies like to hold my umbrella?

Criteria to meet:

Prett smile
sexy boots
hot pants
tight top covering up silicon ;)
Great attitude
A knack to be comitted to the job

And bring your own umbrella!

Go the paddock girls.............Amazonians of the motogp world!!
