... I test rode a Trumpy 675 (for an English buddy of mine who wants one) and while I was at the shop I also got on the GSXR-750....
W H Y??????
Why are the manufacturers making these things so small and "trinkity"? The 675 triple looked great but felt like a motoX bike (tall and narrow), had around 120bhp but felt sluggish compared to my zx6. the Gixxer was more my style but I could not be convinced to shell out close to 20G for something that felt like a toy (the biger brother 1000, was on special for 17G??) ..... again: narrow, flimsy feeling, gimmicky junk on it (looked great but, real world??)
Anyway, I am not a big bloke, but these new bikes seem small to me. I won't be upgrading the 'ol girl for some time..... I know I'm used to mine and all, but seriously, I think they've gone in the wrong direction with these things....
(damn I'm getting old- don't like change anymore!)

Why did Kawasaki have to pull out the ugly stick for ? that is a horrid looking Abomination.
Wat is that stupid thing between the main head lights ? a curtisy light ?
Plus i don't see why they don't keep it a 636cc, they should have kept it the same capacity, just go about redesigning the engine like they did for this!!
Oh well i am quite pleased the 06 model is going much cheaper! now i don't feel so bad about missing out on this one!

from the side it looks good
i reckon the tail section looks great but that front looks pretty crap.
hopefully its one of those things though where it looks better over time.
anyway its not my problem cause ive bought my last 6 - and i reckon it looks excellent
- when i wear it out i will buy his big brother...

This might give you a clearer idea of what it's like.
