I'm told crash Knobs (with their respective mounting brackets) still require some slicing of the fairing...

Anybody know of any frame sliders that you don't need to cut fairing to mount.

I got my sliders from this guy too. There no cut for 10 but are alloy not delrin. Will still do the job and at $50 the price was right.
There on ebay, I think he is in Perth..

I got a set from NZ, but thats a whole different story.
When ur looking for frame sliders get the decent chunky ones on the little pissy ones that go onto the fairing. I think the 10R is pretty ok as u dont have to cut the fairing.

There are cheaper imataion ones that cost about $60 to ur door and do the same job. Ebay is full of them.

I've just checked the ebay store of RatedR, it seems the sliders are retailing at $70 plus postage..MadKaw wrote:I got my sliders from this guy too. There no cut for 10 but are alloy not delrin. Will still do the job and at $50 the price was right.

Where do they bolt on? I assuming its the engine mounts?? so the left side should be a breeze, but what about the right hand side??

They fix to the lower engine mounting bolt behind the fairing and are mounted on a a flat plate to bring the slider puck outside the fairing.

Better to spend the money and get oggies they work for sure mine have been tested on the six a few times and are holding up well (shoe laces get caught up in the rear brakes dohhh).
I bought some cheap sliders from the states made of delrin and dropped the bike in the garage and it shattered into a million small peices, the crash knob that is.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Just checked it out, they dont do em for the 12, i think because there is no appropriate mounting points due to the Monocoque frame.Wattie wrote:kenma website should have pics in the mounting instructions Hoff. for Oggys anyway.hoffy wrote:I didn't know there was anywhere to mount them onto the 12, where do ya put em, a pic would be cool.Smitty wrote:I got my frame sliders for the 12 from this guy...
