re: Looking for mechanic in Melbourne..

Post by jordanius »

Hi guys,

First post around here and was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction,

I just picked up a '92 zx2rc which is rather urgently in need of a service. It's getting harder to start unless its been warmed up or i've got a decent sized hill to roll it down etc. Problem no 2 is the front suspension.. just about every bump i take at more than 20k's an hour hurts in a big way.

I'm based in fitzroy melbourne and need somewhere in say a 10 k radius where i can organise a service, i've got a pretty bad track record of getting ripped off by bike shops.. I was looking at gassit on station street? or maybe one of the places on elizabeth.. anybody here had experience with either?

Appreciate any feedback.
Cheers
J.

Welcome mate.
I do most of my own work, but most of the Melbourne guys are pretty happy with Brighton Kawasaki. I'm sure some one will give you a heads up. 8)
Coming along on our next Vic ride? :D
