Will try this again. Stinking reply didn't work before. Bloody computers!

Thanks for all your welcomes. It is much appreciated. I'm getting all warm and fuzzy now!

zamZX6R, I traded my ol' 98 in for the new one. If I remeber rightly, it had only done about 10-11,000kms. They offered me $6800 for it and the total changeover was $8000.

Hey Lainie, sorry but HP is too close for comfort to Berwick! Hehe, only kidding. My bro plays footy for Narre Warren so HP are considered the enemy. Maybe you'll see me buzzing around town some day.

MadKaw, I found this site just through peoples posts in the international section of Kawiforums.

Colette, I love my Devil  pipes! I haven't noticed any real difference in power but then I've had them on since the run-in period. I initially thought they sounded a bit raucous when I put them on and thought I might become jailbait but they seem to have settled down. I got 'em for bout $1k direct from the Australian distributor but he said they would be one of the last things he would sell direct to the public before becoming a wholesaler only. We had to do a bit of 'engineering' with brackets to get it all to line up good but they have come up a treat.

Hope you guys all have a good week and backed a winner today.

Cheers
Ah, computer dating. It's like pimping but you rarely have to use the phrase "upside your head" - Bender Bending Rodríguez

hey mr Image .

Anyway welcome aboard. Looking at the pics of your old vs new bike i've come to realise that there is a hell of a styling change from the late 90's through to now. something called being a bit more "sedate". I especially noticed it as my bike is just a visually loud as your old bike *grin*.

So who is Bender? "please insert liquor!" :D

Saki, the rear wheel cover is a Geelong Carbon unit that I ordered online. It is the second one after the first one they sent was all wonky.

its funny u ask that...

Bender is one of greeny's mates from stuntlife.com...based in sydney...and a touch of irony is that bender was meant to stay at "fry's" place a few weeks back..and will be again in a few weeks....

i think he may of got the name from bending bikes , not sure, im just guessing...
