They're not 'rides'
They're bikes ffs.
Riding is what you do on them.
This is not the USA where dumbing down rools ok?
Nouns are nouns and verbs are verbs or are you mentally challenged.
A bike is a bike,not a ride ffs.
It's not cool,it's mental deficiency.

Re: They're not 'rides'
If I was going to critique someone's posting choices, I would construct an argument that had some background, a logical progression of points, preferably include a cite or two, maybe add a spot of humour to lighten the mood and make it seem like a genuine concern not just an off-hand bitching session, and a conclusion. I would then go through my own post with a fine tooth comb, checking my own spelling, grammar and punctuation, as it would be more than a little hypocritical to criticise another's post when your own is flawed. Then I would sit on it for a day, so as not to post something negative in a hasty fashion. Then I would re-check the spelling, grammar and punctuation, paying particular attention to spaces after commas, including question marks where appropriate, and general sentence structure. Wouldn't want to be a hypocrite after all, would we?zzzak wrote:They're bikes ffs.

Then I would delete it, because I'd realise that this isn't a debate board, a board for spelling nerds, a grammar-nazi haven or even a board that cares overly about that sort of shit. It's a board for motorbikes.
So, how's the ungrammatical, childishly structured sentences, randomly punctuated, ineffectual ranting thing working for you, zzzak?

Hmmm perhaps the reference is to the "Got a ride to show" thread..?
The word ride was substituted for Motorcycle (bike could refer to push bike or Neka and we wouldn't want that) in the interest of saving bandwidth..
In line with Caths post can I suggest you check this.

Its in the Guidelines thread (as well as info on sig sizes!!) as we don't have rools as such..
and god help us if anyone spells colour without the u... bloody yanks..

ROFL!!!!
i'm with madkaw, i've got 4 bikes in the garage and only 2 have motors in them. if you want to be all correct about it, you'd have to call them 'motorcycles' or 'motorbikes', 'bike' is just as much a slang as 'ride'.
anyways, i'd 'ave called 'em 'chazwazzas'
