Hey zzak if your up to explaining that we are using the term ride wrong (even though a total imbecile knows what it refers to) can you explain the term CHAVS and SCROTES.
These terms are from some of your recent posts.

Im english by birth but its moments like this I cringe, get off your high horse (or ride).

Toast, it's a weird on

I mean

If you boil water, its Boiling Water.

If you cook a steak its, rare, medium or well done steak.

If you whack a peice of bread over a grill until it turns a golden brown

It's toast.

It's just preposterous.

I say we start a revolution against the name given to grilled bread.

Which dictionary would you consider to be the definative English dictionary?

The Oxford?
Tire:
verb 1 become or cause to become in need of rest or sleep. 2 exhaust the patience or interest of. 3 (tire of) become impatient or bored with.
— ORIGIN Old English.

Tyre:
(US tire) • noun 1 a rubber covering, typically inflated or surrounding an inflated inner tube, placed round a wheel to form a soft contact with the road. 2 a strengthening band of metal fitted around the rim of a wheel, especially of a railway vehicle.

The Cambridge?
Tire:
tire (LOSE ENERGY) Show phonetics
verb
to begin to feel as if you have no energy and want to rest or go to sleep, or to make someone feel this way:
She's been leading throughout the race, but it now looks as if she's tiring.
Even doing the garden tires me these days.

tire (WHEEL)
noun [C]
US FOR tyre

The Merriam Webster?
Main Entry: 1tire
Pronunciation: 'tI(-&)r
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): tired; tir·ing
Etymology: Middle English tyren, from Old English tEorian, tyrian
intransitive verb : to become weary
transitive verb
1 : to exhaust or greatly decrease the physical strength of : FATIGUE
2 : to wear out the patience of : BORE
