Dynoed my bike!

Post by James »

I dynoed my bike today with the Termignoni pipe. I had my bike dynoed before on the same dyno with only the K&N. The dyno generally reads low, but thats insignificant as the difference between before and after the pipe is whats important.

The figures are SAE corrected and although the bike is running a little lean and needs a PCIII to tune it properly (which will mean more HP!:D ) here are the results:

Max rear wheel HP with standard pipe - 95.6 (SAE)
Max rear wheel HP with Termignoni - 101.2 (SAE)

Max rear wheel torque with standard pipe - 50.4ft-lbs
Max rear wheel torwue with Termignoni - 52.6ft-lbs

As you can see from the graph below, the Termi provides more power from 2500rpm right through to redline! The torque is also up with the Termignoni from 2500rpm and has fixed the flatspot in the torque curve at just over 7000rpm.

Im going back to get the PCIII in a couple of weeks - I'll get the dyno results and post 'em here.

BTW - this morning I had the pipe noise tested at 100db @ 5500rpm.

Nice start, from looking at the graph you could really use that PCIII, should be rocking when thats on there too.

I bet it feels a ton better without that hole in the top end. :D
