GOOD RELIABLE MOTORCYCLE MECHANIC 4 SERVICING ZZR600 SYDNEY
Hi all, bought my 98 ZZR600 a few weeks ago and am now looking for a GOOD honest and reliable mechanic - one that's not gunna see a chick turn up & wanna cheat me outta my hard earned $$$ based on my lack of knowledge &/or experience with bikes etc... (if you get my drift) Unfortunately cars are my forte (know heaps in that dept.) but bikes I'm not so confident with in terms of the mechanical side of things - so any advice would be awesome!!
I'm not sure about the service history of the bike as it wasn't available from the Team Moto dealer that I bought my bike from... It's quite possible that the bike is due for a service of some kind (Approx 18,000kms on the clock now) and to be honest, I'd feel much better if I knew that everything was squared away in that department. I have just put new tyres on the bike, so a service is next on my bike 'to-do' list - no doubt that will lengthen the 'to-do' list in itself!
I live in Padstow NSW but am not worried about travelling around Sydney to find the right mechanic for the job.
I would be grateful for any advice ya'll could offer and if you have any idea about what I might expect to pay for the service req'd...
Cheers, Beck[/b]

On recommendations from alot of people on this site, I took my 10r to Richard at Narellan Kawasaki for it's 12k service $313. Alsolute bargain as Sydney City wanted $463 + parts. Top bloke & won't treat you like a dickhead even if you are one.
They even gave me a late model ZX9 to punt around for the day at no extra cost.
Shit loads better than Action MC. Dickhead mechanics droped my ZX7R in the workshop and thought I wouldn't notice the rooted fairing.
