Hi All,
Yesterday, I pulled up in front of my house to grab my wallet, which I forgot on the way out 5 min before. I put down the kickstand and went to step off the bike, and it turned out that the stand was on some loose gravel and the bike fell over as I lifted my leg off. I tried to keep it up but was in a totally awkward position and couldnt get leverage.
So now I have a small crack at the bottom of my Motor/Generator Cover (left side) its dripping oil at a somewhat slow rate, but something that has to be addressed. this is a total pain in the a*s cause its my only mode of transport.
I called the dealer and ordered an NRC Racing cover to replace the factory one since its so much stronger and about $10 less.
Im hoping it arrives by friday, and I am going to replace it.
Any pointers or things I should look out for when Im changing out the cover? Someone said that I might have to overcome some magnetic field or something. Please let me know
Cheers
Ron
