Whats good glue for fairings?
No missing chunks, just some cracks need sealing without repainting and stuff.

Plastex. u file a v grove between the two pieces, groove on back away from outer surface and tape pieces together on outer side. Add plastex grain to groove, drip in plastex liquid. Wait, sand and fill if necessary. It ain't always pertty, but holds together well

yup, as long as you have an existing lug to make a mould from. put the moulding bar in BOILING water for about 10 mins to soften it enough, mould it around the lug (half or a bit more at a time) and let it cool. then put it where you want it. tape it in place so it wont leak. Fill it with powder and then add drops of the fluid until its a bit of a pastey consistancy. then let it cure over a hour or three.
oh and clean the plastic to mould to up and make sure its got a rough enough surface to blend into, think about the texture of a bastard file on the surface.

I've been told that ABS Cement works well on the gpx 250 fairings, i haven't tried it personally, but you can get it at plumbing shops, if you want to try it ? you use it in a similar manner to that plastex, but it takes a lot longer to cure ! I've also been told that the fairings themselves are made from abs plastic, so you are basically gluing it with itself, like plastic welding ! this is what I've seen on another bike forum, whether it's right or wrong I don't know ?
