from my post re PI
I got mine from the Baron at Under-Dog (a member here)
$80 inc post/freight to ya door......
easy to fit, comfy too
I am a happy customer.....
You can go to http://www.underdog-leathers.com/ then click on the "Sport & Track" link to see what they look like. I might go for one of them myself come to think of it...
me, i wear one regularly on rides (UFO with shoulder straps cost me $89 on sale usually can be had for just over $100).
Very comfortable wore it all the way down and back (pardon the pun) to PI from Brisvegas.(The velcro belt holds your guts in for impressing the ladies ).
I wear it cause it allows me to wear cool summer jackets instead of leather on fast rides, don't know how effective it would be but it costs so little, doesn't cause me any discomfort so i'd be mad not to wear it given the way i ride

Mario,
I have worn one every time I ride since 1977 when I broke my back.....the vet said if I had been wearing one I would have only suffered bruising
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.
Yep... My collins back protector cost me $30....
and its fine... right place at the right time, as they are normally $80 +...
