I just picked up an 03 Z1000, my first naked bike and my first Kawasaki! I just came off an 02 VTR1000 Honda Firestorm, so the Z is a whole different experience! I am loving the bike though!
I bought it as is, 6000km on the clock and a whole host of mods - Yoshi TRs slip ons, Ohlins steering dampner, Hel brake lines, CRG levers and bar end mirrors, Corbin seat, carbon fibre screen, radiator guard, Rizoma engine protectors, ABM bars, K & N filter, fender eliminator and a few other things I am sure I missed!
I was looking at an Suzuki TL1000R but when the Z came up for the bargain price of $9500! I just had to have it!
I already have a few further mods planned like a zx10 rear shock, smaller led indicators, more carbon bits/plastic blackout and a 636 front end swap when I can afford it!!
I was put onto this forum by ondabooze and have had a good look around and it's a great place to hang!
Anyhow, here's are some pics for you all, any Canberra guys want to go for a ride anytime let me know!
