hey everyone just went and checked to see what the rebound/compression settings on my bike were at (adjusted by previous owner) and found that there were more clicks/turns than I expected on all settings front and back.
Rather than the 11 positions for front rebound I had 14, and compression was 18 rather than 13. Rear was similar with 5 3/4 turns rebound instead of 4 1/2 and 6 1/4 compression where standard is 4 turns.
Anyway, just wanted to know if anyone had heard of this before as it struck me as wierd, what could it be caused by? Also if I want to go back to factory settings do I still just go the recommended clicks from fully clockwise or are they offset?

set it up at 5mm preload and i am not sure about x turns on this and x turns on that would have to set it up by feel.
I know the standard settings are in the manual and they work if you have standard suspension but i swapped everything out on mine for other stuff.
I think all settings are from full in.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

I know that I have to set preload first and then the rest by 'feel', but what was worrying me was the additional adjustment positions. As far as I can tell all parts are stock. I just wanted to start from standard and go from there.
