Number plate location in NSW
I was just wondering if anyone in NSW (or other states) knew if the number plate had to be located on the end/back of the bike to be legal? I was thinking on locating it under the bike right under the seat (near the regulator/shock) on my Z1000 to clean up the end of the bike.
Any ideas?

The whole reason bikes have that fugly plastic rear fender is that the plate has to be behind the back wheel. Vic aren't so strict, but other members in NSW and QLD have been given points and fines.

Yeah, I though as much with the plate - I'm already a cop magnet as it as as well so I do't want to add to it any more then I have to.
And I already have an eliminator, I was just thinking of making it rear end and nothing else with an intergrated light/indicator, which I believe is also illegal, so I cant win!!

no, it's all for everyone elses safety. If you hide your plate, how can the hidden camera get you, and teach you a lesson in not speeding?
Or moer to the point, how can they raise revenue if the camera can't get you?
