4. A soft sportsbike powered by a 900-1000cc version of the ER-6 engine. A TRX850/VTR1000F for the new millennium, of sorts.
I'd be up for one of these, would be a good alternative the the TDM900

Ahh for the good old days of screaming around from point A to point B leaving a blue smokescreen of pre-mix in your wake. Not only was it a joy to be out on the road it was also time to celebrate every occasion that you actually arrived somewhere (hand grenades do have a tendency to go off )
  finally, FINALLY there is someone out there who knows what a good motorbike is all about !!!

Well Done Duncan. You get my vote mate !

While enjoying my two stroke days while they lasted, and even taking to one to make it a bit quick (TZR-Chambers-Carby's-Ignition-Barrells-Pistons-Porting-Head and some other goodies making it a 200KPH + 250) I still fondly remember getting back to a four stroke and not wishing to go anywhere near a dirty smelly two stroke anymore! It's a bit like shagging a 17 year old. Sure it's pretty exciting, and the ride is usually pretty wild, fast and furious, but it usually doesn't last too long! Plus it does your head in to own one long term!
