What was required to fit the zzr1200 cams? any mods? what timing did you use?
Nothing special thumpa, just follow the ZRX manual for removing & installing camshafts. Some cam install lube is a good idea, avail from Supacheap, under the Penzoil brand from memory. From my car engine rebuilding days I prefer to run my cams in for 20 min's @ 2000rpm (approx). Don't know if that is still current thinking

Make sure U inspect your old cam lobes & rockers (especially #3 inlet) for damage

. Replace any damaged rockers, reset clearances as per manual.

You may be able to have cams & damaged rockers replaced by Kawasaki

Timing wise I set mine up with the standard sprockets , money restraints
