Looking at the bike tonight and nitices there is a plug in the rear I thought it was a bit of road crap but it ain't. The tyre still has plenty of tread (almost new), but don;t know if it should be replaced .
Pilot power,by the way!!!
Arn't they puncture prone
Some advice would be good?

"Plenty" of people ride the tire to it's death with a plug in em Burky, havind said that there is a "theoretical" speed limit you're not supposed to go over with em in, think it's 80kph but heard many a person ignore that too, your call I guess. Dunno i'd be replacing it if it didn't need replacing though.
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"
I've done over 200 on a plugged tyre, didn't know I shouldn't be. If you're worried about it - enough for it to affect your trust in the tyre - then bugger it off.
I've done >1000kms on a recently plugged tyre at freeway speeds.
That's plugged from the inside - not the roadside plug things.
For the road I think the internal plugs are safe enough - wouldn't go to the track though.
Not sure how the roadside plugs hold up - I'd personally treat them as temporary I think and get it plugged properly or replace the tyre.

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough. Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.
They're pretty cool mate. Hoffy was running around on an old one of mine with a plug in it for ages. I put a temporary in it and he had it plugged from the inside

Firstly, take it back and try it on for a new one... (you did get it from a dealer didn't you.?)
Secondly, if that falls thru, and it probly will, don't worry about it if its been done correctly. Make sure its the mushroom one plugged from the inside. I had one of those in a nearly new tyre and ran it too its death, including a couple of track days, with no problem.
Ask Damon about the rear tyre on the 9 he bought from Parra Kawi. Not only did it have 2 plugs in it, it also had a tube. We found that out when the tube got a leak..
