Thanks Guys, It came with Solid white wheels & more Stickers then a "Horny Echidna".
Why someone would paint over polished rims is beyond me, but i was pleased as punch to find out i only had to strip & paint as opposed to strip, sand, polish, buff & then paint the buggers.
Rims will be polished lips with colour coded centers when i decide which of the 5 oranges I'm going to try & match. I Think it was a Mexican bike because all the extra "daylight savings" daylight has faded a heap of the plastic bits. I've planned a Full respray in June with a mate in Gladstone.
Now for the "Crims' stolen" bits ......
New Mid mount Muzzy Slip on with a Titanium mid pipe.
Hyperpro Dampner.
Vortex rearsets.
Hugger "may be stock but its a different colour ?."
Vortex Screen.
Geelong Carboncraft Tankguard.
Fork Springs.
Geared down 1.1 front.
Lightwt. Chain & sprocket set.
Single seat cowl.
Pilot Race Tyres.
Rear Braided line.
Single Seat Rego.
Flash Pipe hanger & chain guard.
Big Kev (06 10r roadie & 04 10r trackie) did the first Test ride & said "Fuggen Buy it or i will !."

The polished wheels turned out looking great! I agree, much better than white wheels - well when I saw it, it had one white wheel and one polished wheel ;)
Cheers,
Anne

Great pick up, the polished wheels certainly spruce up the bike and are a good way to improve the overall look, something i plan to do to my 10.
GCC tank guard i got put on mine, i'm curious what lightweight chain/sprocket set your planning on?

What's your thoughts on the 10 so far?

It has a "chrome moly" rear sprocket n its a 525 or 530 skinny chain thingo, I forget the specifics but Kev seemed pretty happy with that bit.

It's as overwhelming as i expected, near impossible to do posted speed limits on. Speedo is nearly 15% out as well which makes mobile maths fun. Being a bit of a "night owl" I may actually ban myself from riding it before lunch as it processes scenery far quicker then my "morning Dull old noodle" can.

On Sundays ride Esie asked my my initial thoughts in comparrison to the F model 9r, its more like an 05 6r with a "on/off" switch for a throttle. Still "Lov th' 9" & always will. It's such an under rated bike & makes ordinary riders into Really Good ones. I Think it'll take a bit of time to get used to the "crim" and much longer to be as confident about riding the ring off it like i could on "Tiggr". Looks like Wheelies will become old hat REAL fast.
