No worries mate, I wont be putting in a order until we get back from HG, so your cash is safe for the trip !!Mick C wrote:Count me in mate....but it's going to seriously cut into my HG/Z650 budget
But, as soon as we get back, I will be looking at finalising this first order, and getting the first run of these jackets done before mid-May (ie when it starts getting chilly.)
Numbers so far are looking good.

will organise a picture shortly mate
Neka - these ones are the normal style, full zip no hood. The supplier does a couple of different style polar fleece, once the first order is done and they have the embroidery programme on their system, I might be able to extend the buy to some other styles ? Will check with them after Easter and find out.
At the moment, all I am looking for is an idea about numbers for the basic style, its looking pretty good so far....

No worries mate, you are on the list.
So far so good - I won't be asking members for any money to be sent for this group buy until after the Halls Gap run - which is only a couple of weekends away. As soon as we get back from HG, I will send out pm's to all those people who have requested a jacket, with my banking details for direct deposit. I expect the total cost to be $60 per jacket, which will include postage anywhere in Australia. The final price will be confirmed on this thread.
Keep your eye out around Anzac Day for final pricing, pm's etc.
In the meantime, I will get a picture of the jacket up here during the week.
cheers

OK some good news about the jackets.....
The shop is going to lend me a sample jacket to bring down to Halls Gap, so anyone going to HG will get a good idea of what they are buying.
I tried one on today, it was an XL, and fitted nice and snug..... I was only wearing a T-shirt underneath, so the better size would be 2XL. It felt nice and warm I tell ya !! The shop has cheaper polar-fleece jackets from about $25-$35, but the quality isn't as good, this jacket is the top pf their range. Neka - they don't do hooded tops in this material.
I have added some photos of the jacket, the 2 shots from inside the shop look a bit 'washed out', the jacket is fully *black* - the photo from the catalogue is a better one. They have a full-length storm flap over the main zipper, which is fastened with metal press-studs. The collar can also be fastened with press-studs to keep the breeze out.
Some more manufacturers info re: these jackets....
They are a Heavy Weight Poly Fleece Jacket (360gsm), with the following features:
Anti-pill Poly Fleece jacket
Storm collar with metal button down
Dome flap with 4 button downs, over full length zipper
Two front angled zippered pockets.
Mens sizes - XS (60), S (63), M (66), L (68 ), XL (71), 2XL (73), 3XL (76).
These are half-chest size ie. measured across the front of the chest from armpit to armpit.
Hopefully this will give punters enough information about the jacket, the KSRC patch is intended to be done over the LH breast.
