Nah mate, a zx6r

It is sitting on a pole (between the headers and the block) between two axle stands. I was trying to jack the rear up without success, and in desperation decided, for no good reason, to lift the back. It was so easy to lift I slid a ladder under it to hold it up and dropped the shock out. Pics to come one day soon

thats the way, ladders can come in real handy sometimes !!

I have used the screw-type jack method that IK mentioned earlier, on the YZ500 when doing its rear shock - it was by far the easiest method for getting the shock in *exactly* the right position for getting all the pivot bolts into the swingarm/shock lever arms etc......

Agreed. But with no forks, front wheel, triple clamps, etc the scissor jack was never going to work .... I grinned to myself and muttered something about where there's a will .....
