Had a look at another 06 today in blue,

The paint looked like a matte finish, is normal across the 636 range? all the other colours i have seen look like a glossy finish?

my next choice is blue, i like the colour so im not too fussed.

Does anyone know if the matte finishes are prone to oxidisation? i know my friends matte black gsxr 600 and another mate 06 aprillia RS125 do this, i looks like rust one the body work.

Hye vukie,

i bought my 06 brand new off the showroom floor and i have since clocked 10,000k's on it. it has never ever given me any problems.

As far as riding goes, i found it an excellent step up from the little ZX2R i had, it is very powerful for its size and handles very well.

I like it also how they have designed the motor, down low in the rev range it is very tame so for city or slow riding it putts along nicely, but hit 9,000rpm and the little dragon hiding inside the motor wakes up and ROARS at you and it really takes off!

I would highly recommend getting one, u won't be let down!

BTW i just sold mine for 9k
