Will any 525 chain fit my 99 zx6?
whats a reasonable brand to get hand how much should I pay. was thinking to spend 140-160 dollars.
I have seen another brand in a yellow box for $90, anybody know this brand? and is the chain ok?

Glenn
which chain should I get?
i'd opt for either a (for logevity) or a 520 (for a few more hp) rather than the 525, id also replace the sprockets as well.
depends on wether you want a quality chain or no-name, choice is yours but i ALWAYS buy a good quality chain with a rivet link, just my $0.02 worth - take it or leave it
BTW, I use DID or RK

umm if ur current sprockets are 530, u will need a 530 chain....
ussually u replace all 3 (chain and both sprockets) as a bad sprocket will chew out a chain quickly...
the higher the number (530,525,520) the stronger and heavier the chain, therefore the longer it lasts..the lower the number the lighter the chain, and the more HP gain u will get...
if the bikes a commuter id go 530..if its a track bike, id go 520...if its a bit of everything id go 525...
hope that helps
also ...try to avoid alloy sprockets unless ur racing..they are super light and look cool, but they dont last long!!
