It's been around for a while that one, but still makes u cringe to watch it. Apparently from what i've heard, it was a guy on an SV650 leading a pack of newer riders up the spur, so was probably cruising! It just proves that it can happen to anyone I guess!!!

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

And old mate I haven't caught up with for a few years got killed up on the spur a few days ago.. In his mid-late 20's on his L's, riding with a work mate

Bloody work! I can't even go to the funeral cause I'm stuck on a critical cutover that has to be done on Friday. *Sighs*
Makes you re-evaluate riding on the road... That and not having a bike on the road for the past few weeks makes it easier to consider also.

I love riding on the road but have re-evaluated the way in which I do it. That's part of the reason for needing to sell the Kwakka. I just can't ride it on the road in the way it deserves to be ridden.icebreaker wrote:Makes you re-evaluate riding on the road... You can't run around the place being scared that something is going to happen to you all the time. That's not the way to live.
But taking calculated risks is what it's all about. If you ride on the road, then ride sensibly and watch out for everything that's out to get you.
If you want to have a real good time, get a race bike.
