It had to high-tail it off the coast before it was beached as well......only just made it......

Here is another recent photo of a tanker at Newcastle in trouble. This one was the "Sea Confidence" , the photo was taken off Stockton Beach (the big one that is on the other side of the harbour entrance), the ship is only 1km offshore !!
