New ZX-10 owner!!
New ZX-10 owner!!
Hey all,
My name is scott and ive recently just purchased a spanking new Kwaka ZX-10 SE! Just waiting on finance to come through so as i can pick her up! Unfortunately, working in a sales position where commission is a large part of my earnings, loan applications tend to take ages and get a bit tricky!!
Im just coming off my first bike, being a Hyosung GT250R, and Im definately looking forward to the ZX-10! Test rides just blew me away! Also contemplated the '07 Gixxer 1000 but fell in love with the ZX-10 after about 5 minutes of riding it!!
Anyways, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself, thanks to smitty for telling me about this forum and I look forward to contributing what I can in the future. Both shit stirring and legitimate posting!!!
Cheers
Scott

Welcome mate
BUT fark'n hell that's a BIG ask .........I hope you had that Hyosung for a coupla years experience
Fast bikes get you into real trouble REAL quick.

I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.
Re: New ZX-10 owner!!
hey all, thanks for the replies.
I do definately intend on taking it easy. I have too much respect for my life to risk doing anything crazy.
Ive had people over the last few weeks saying dont do it, dont do it. But, i do trust myself. Ive had fast cars before (11 second ute) and ive also had my pilots license for 10 years so I do respect the machines i operate to a great extent! I know they bite. Fortunately for me, ive always taken care and im not just another "dumb hoon". In 10 years driving/riding/flying, ive not had one accident. Not even a close call to speak of.
I know its a big upgrade from the lil hyosung, but its strictly gonna be a good weather bike. Ill probably keep the hyo as an everyday rider and use the beast when the conditions are good. Am looking into advanced rider courses at the moment. Thats something thats very high on my priority list atm.
Anyways, thanks for the replies, and I will definately take your words of caution on board!
Hope to see you all out there at some stage or another!
Ride safe guys!
