looking for a fender eliminator for a 05 ZX-10R
Hi Guys,
Can anyone recommend a nice fender eliminator for a 2005 ZX-10R?
Preferably with pictures of it fitted to the bike.
If anyone can recommend one they have used it would be great.
cheers

Re: looking for a fender eliminator for a 05 ZX-10R
I bought a stupidly expensive one from the Kwaka dealer when I bought the bike. (Got carried away in the euphoria of buying a new bike and paid $200). The little buggers off ebay look pretty cool.
Just as an aside I can highly recommend the integrated brake/blinkers from RatedR. Not cheap at $160 but they look smick. They also mean you just really need somewhere to hang your number plate from.

It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Don't recall what indicators the 05 has, but in the 07 they're flush(ish) to the tail unit so the eliminator doesn't need all the extra brackets. I also got the dealer one (they did me a good deal), and it looks real schweet

I bought the same one from FleaBay in the US for the 06/07, as in photomike666's he drilled the plate for the mounting holesphotomike666 wrote:Don't recall what indicators the 05 has, but in the 07 they're flush(ish) to the tail unit so the eliminator doesn't need all the extra brackets. Here it is for the 05
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KAWASAKI ... 0126262524
The loops on the end are the ones i cut so Aus plates would fit (My personal plate thats why i didn't want to drill the holes).

Re: looking for a fender eliminator for a 05 ZX-10R
Don't know the exact price as it was all part of a deal with the Akras, hugger, on road costs etc. In the end I rode away with all the extras for the price the bike was advertised before on road costs.Neka79 wrote:how much was the dealer one mate??photomike666 wrote:Don't recall what indicators the 05 has, but in the 07 they're flush(ish) to the tail unit so the eliminator doesn't need all the extra brackets.
