Yeah, I would say that they are a challenge to get out but I didn't have to remove my radiator. Go from the top down.
Tank, Airbox, F.I, and the insulation rubber ontop of your engine. Then you can play! I checked my valve clearances as well at 6k. They were in range but I will check them again at 12k as I think one valve will be borderline by the time I do the 18k service.
You really need to get a manual so you know exacvtly when to get stuff done.
I have paid off service centres, overpriced and they don't give a sh*t!
If you have some tools and a mechanical background and some time it's better to do it yourself!
