My brother also wears his wedding ring on "the wrong hand". I had to kiss the ring in the ceremony as a sign of giving my blessing to the union or something - I couldn't follow much as it was in Russian!
It doesn't matter which hand - or if you have a ring at all, as long as everyone knows that there is a joining of two minds, bodies and souls.
Then again if someone from another culture asked me why we wear the rings on the left hand I have no idea - probably something to do with remembering which side of the road to ride on???????
im thinking ill challenge red_dave's 8 yrs....lol....8 yrs engaged...
