Ok heres the problem i have currently
i have just built a wrecked 05 ZX10R up into a track bike, i have replaced the front end with 07 model and i got the 07 ohlins damper too has anyone fitted a 07 damper to a Gen 1 model????

Unless you can get one cheap, I'd suggest an aftermarket would be better.
As with most std items the dampers were built to a budget, they also had a problem with a few of em leaking.

problem is, whats going to fit???? i have the o6 - 07 top triple which is different to 04 - 05 so im guessing if i buy an 05 it wont fit and if i buy an 06 it still wont fit??? was hoping someone may have been there and done that already and could head me in the right direction

The Hyperpro ones run off the tank mounting points to the centre steering nut... I would think that these mounting points would be the same between the models, got mine off ebay at a fraction of the new cost

Ahhh, I see..
I would have thought it would fit.. You may need to pack it up to clear the tank or fork adjusters, not sure..
