Yes Yak Fat is a "phenonemem" it was discovered and developed by a group of us at Boomerang CP wilst sitting around discussing various things, like what was missing from the world atm. After some breif development by Red Dave while hooking into some of sneakypetes NT Bitter it was discovered that Yaf Fat has many and varied uses, not the least which are related to motorcycling. As you have questioned above it does exactly that, it even automaticly adjust your tyre pressures to optimal pressure for what ever situation you may find yourself in.
We are currently working on the promotional stuff as we speak and should have the world wide release very shortly, but don't fret it will be released here to the members of this great forum first and at a discounted price of course.

Hi cath, I originally put up this post when I didn't realise how ridiculous a concept it was for a girl to own a 10. I wanted one and knew it was fast, sporty etc, but people were kinda implying it wasn't for girls, that girls should stick to 600cc max.Cath wrote:
Hi Kristy,
I haven't ridden a 10, I have under 5 years of riding experience, and don't feel I have enough experience, riding skill, knowledge and information to answer your question, however if you don't mind, I have a question of my own:
At least twice, you have asked if there are any girls on this forum who ride a 10. I'd like to know why you're asking that, if you don't mind.
I wasn't happy with that and thought that this would be a good place to ask if there were any other girls out there who ride th zx10r, to chat with about how it is to ride etc. for another girl.

And there-in lays another use of the "soon-to-be-released" YAK FATTM. Apparently Pete and his stylist/Hair straightener "Bruce" can endorse the fact that YAK FATTM does indeed increase lingerie pillow fighting enjoyment considerably.

Re: I wanna 10!
Don't Know who you talk to but I have never come across the "girls should stick to 600cc max".... I myself ride a 750 (although I believe its not as fast as the modern 600's - But I could be wrong coz I ride like a girl....) I have a few girlfriends on bigger bikes then 600's.... BUT with that in mind, they have had years of experience on bikes, and didn't jump from a 250 to a thou.... I suspect this is more the attitude and comments you were getting, not that "girls should stick to 600's max".Kristy wrote:Hi cath, I originally put up this post when I didn't realise how ridiculous a concept it was for a girl to own a 10. Also, I wonder if the red-white-blue flag on his vest is a very unfortunate fuckup or a very deliberate pisstake; red-white-blue are the colours of the Croatian flag, whereas Boris is very much a Serb.

Re: I wanna 10!
Oh ok. I would never hang around any place where a woman owning a ZX10R was a ridiculous concept. And I would feel free to dismiss the thoughts / words / opinions of anyone who was stupid enough to think that gender had anything at all to do with riding a bike - so I was kind of flummoxed that you brought it up several times.Kristy wrote:Hi cath, I originally put up this post when I didn't realise how ridiculous a concept it was for a girl to own a 10. I think you may have either bought into that stupid mindset somewhat, or at least allowed it to make you second-guess yourself, if you felt the need to specifically chat with women who ride 10's... Don't buy into the bullshit.
If I was seriously interested in buying a 10 (and I occasionally do flirt with the idea of a titanium '04 10 [mmmmm... '04 ZX10... mmmmm... where was I?], but for a number of reasons it's not for me right now), I would be asking for opinions / info from all 10 riders, not just female 10 riders. Or I might specifically ask questions relating to body weight / height / experience levels, etc, if I wanted to target my questions further. I just don't "get" what gender has to do with it, that's why your questions threw me off a little.
Like I said - I have no experience on litre bikes, so can't help there. I will say that while I'm sure the buzz of riding a ZX10R is awesome, the buzz of completely owning a moron on a 10, while you fly around them on the 6, and leave them for dead is also quite satisfying

i kno a few girls who ride cbr1000/zx10/r1 and the like...i have no issues with them doing that...
but..they have progressed thru 250's, 600's or 750's or the like, have had dirt experience or race/track experience, and know how to ride a bike (in fact sum of em leave the blokes for dead)...
the issue isnt that u shouldnt buy a 10...the issue is you should get more experience before u buy a 10...
ive said it before (and i think u have missed it??) ..we aint trying to be sexist pricks..we just dont like the bit where we read abt the death of a freind/family/forum member cos they couldnt handle the new bike...
go buy a dirt bike and spent the next few months riding that (both on and off road- they handle like a turd on the road on knobbies) ...that will give u a LOT of practice towards becoming a better rider...

11 pages of people going blue in the arse telling you that the problem are the misconceptions you have about riding, and you conclude that it's a ridiculous concept for a girl to own a 10...
OK, one more time for those in the cheap seats...
1. Feel free to continue planning to get a 10 when your n00b license expires.
2. Give up on the idea that there are sound, logical, rational reasons for why a 10 would be a better choice for an upgrade than some other sportsbike. You want beause you want one. The end. There doesn't need to be any more justification for it.
3. Give up on the idea that, having been riding for a month, you have even the first clue what controlling a bike is about. The odds are overwhelmingly against it, so when more experienced riders talk, don't make statements; ask questions.
Re: I wanna 10!
Awww, come on IK - we're only at 11 pages. There was plenty of life in this thread until you did that.I-K wrote:You want because you want one. The end. There doesn't need to be any more justification for it.
