Re: I'm a bad bad girl...
cant go wrong with the gsxr. they are very nice looking bikes and have the performance to back them up but i also dont see the point of getting a 750. the 1000 is approx the same weight and size but has shits loads more grunt for an extra 2Gs.
still its a hot looking bike though and would love to own a suzuki.

Well I've been there done that. I do miss my Suzuki GSXR1000. But its a comfort thing for me now. They are a great bike.
Suzuki has won bike of the year many times. You cant go wrong. Good luck on your decision.

Re: I'm a bad bad girl...
I haven't done it yet, I'm going to be unable to ride for a little while, hence using that time to sort my bike out. Don't get me wrong I love my zed, but one of the reasons for buying it was practicality as I didn't have a car, and since I now have the company ute, that's gone out the window.
600's have roughly 110 at the back wheel, a 1000 150-160, that's a huge difference. I want a bike with a bit more torque than a 600 but simply do not need or want the stick a 1000 has. The 750 has enough torque that i don't have to change gears to pass cars, it's happy in any gear, but it's still easy to live with, and I'm guessing insurance will be cheaper than a thou.
I did take it out for about half an hour, and I took it over some bumpy roads, through lots of roundabouts and a run down the highway, about 45km.
Actually I think you can blame Punisher... after riding his zx7 and then the zxr400, it made me realise how much I missed a sports bike
Could be worse, I could be thinking of buying a yamaha/Honda

If I'd known it'd lead to buying a Suzuki I never woulda done it
Actually I think you should get it before your op, that would give me time to give it a good running in before you can ride again
and you always were a bad, bad girl

Re: I'm a bad bad girl...
dont be so sure about the insurance bit.
reason i bought the 10 over the 6 was because they were in the same category of "high performance sportbike"

Re: I'm a bad bad girl...
If you dont want a 6, just get a 10.. there's so many good reasons
looks cooler
is cooler
you'll be cooler
If it's the lacking of 250cc's that is the selling point I'd say thats a non issue because if you can handle the 750 without flipping it or doing something equally hamfisted you'll be able to handle the 10.
Sure the 750 is cheaper but then you'll just cop flak for being a cheapskate as well as riding a suzuki!
I'm confident this is just mistake brought on by a spur of the moment decision and since, as you said you won't be buying it straight away, you will have time to come to your senses.

Isn't Kawa owned by Spewzuki anyways? Way I see it, you're still on a good thing if that's the case.
I was actually looking at a new GSXR Thou for an upgrade to my bike.

Not sure about kawa being owned by suzuki.. last I heard they were owned by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, one of the biggest companies in the world.
