2007 Victorian State BMX Championship

After a year of training, a dislocated AC joint, tennis elbow in both elbows and a stretched tendon in my right foot, my first year of BMX racing has come to a close.

I am now officially ranked 10th in Victoria for 30-34 cruiser, whilst my kids are 14th and 19th in their respective age groups. To give you an idea of the level of competition, the guy who won my class (Simon Anderson) is a former Aus No1 in Elite Men (the top class in World BMX), and the 2nd place guy (Danny Galea)was also Aus No1 Elite Men and high in the world rankings too. Both these guys also raced in A Pro this weekend, one level under Elite men (they're getting a bit old now), Danny came 4th and Simon won it!!!

ALl I can say is, I really have to start training for the Australian National titles next April
