Whats a good alarm brand and where to source one?

Post by nicko »

Alrighty i am after an alarm for my bike but all there is on ebay is the cheap chinese ones which quality is no doubt questionable!
im after something with remote start, shock sensing, current sensing and obviously something that will last!

Scorpio have a pretty good reputation, but they're pretty damned expensive. Have a look at http://www.scorpioalarms.com/. Kenma are the Aussie distributor (http://www.kenma.com.au).

Somebody posted recently about some success with an immobiliser from http://www.budgetimmobilisers.com.au/ - they're only $40 which I don't think you can beat, but they're only an immobiliser, not a full-featured alarm.
