Kawasaki Road Trip

Post by KLR »

Just found this on the Kwaka site

http://www.kawasakiroadtrip.com.au/

looks like fun, however by then I will probably be Kawasaki-less

but for you other guys I reckon it would be outstanding.

I have sent an email to them to ask them about whether melbourne people can simply participate in the track day, as their idea of leaving from Sydney really only targets the NSW Audience, unless people want to travel from interstate to the meet point to then travel all the way to PI for a track day... So hopefully they are interested in taking people just for the track day alone, otherwise IMO let people in NSW go for it.. I'm not traveling 9-10 hours to come back to melbourne again, and pay $300 to do so... But I will post their response on here as soon as they get back to me.

it would be good to just meet up for a giant size BBQ, have a few brittneys, chew the cud, check the bikes.....all those type-a-things

I know it's a big call, but regardless of whether not we can do the track day alone, and remembering that advantages are taken, not handed out.

Would it be feasible for us to put on a BBQ at PI for them?
Nothing majorly flash, but it is a captive audience for us to target.

Any thoughts.
It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

Great Thinking Matty... You could have a small stand with the T-Shirts and singlets for sale, hand out a few stickers and generally raise the awareness of this great forum...

Dan
good one Dan
lets see what the response is
but I think I know what it will be....:(

and that is one reason why the Kwika riders club in Melbourne
is just about nonexistent....
Ken at BKwaka reckons WE have more vic members than the 'official' club
them arseholes in Synney reckon the universe revolves around them
and forget that there are 17 million of us who don't live in Synney
pharrk 'em

(and I am NOT including our NSW members in that)

cheers
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!

I'd be interested in meeting them down at PI.

Hopefully the bike will be worth looking at by then and won't be embarrassed by the look of it...lol

may even buy some leathers b4 then as well... maybe not... haha 8)

Personally i think it will be one of those gay fucked up club rides that has a page long of rules to follow  and you can't pass so and so cause he is the leader etc etc.

However i think the melbourne boys should take a bunch of stickers out to PI and do some serious tagging.

I'll tag the ride leader, as i'm passing the fucker on the back wheel. "SLAP, welcome to my world bitch.
It should be KSRC, inclusive of SPORTSBIKE".
