Where do you usually mount your alarm module?
Im fitting an accument cat 1 alarm to my 2001 zx6r - i was going to try and fins some room under the tank - or am i best putting it elsewhere?
Also - it has two mmobilisation ciruits - iwas going to tap into the sidestand switch as this cuts the coil and starter relay
Or once again am i better off tapping in elsewhere - liek fuel pump etc?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Where to mount alarm module?
I'd be inclined to mount the module under the pillion seat - there's not a lot of spare room under the tank and nothing real good to mount to. As for the immobiliser circuits, I'd don't see much point in cutting power to the fuel pump as the bike will run for upwards of 5 minutes without a fuel pump (using the fuel in the carbies). If you wanted to hook up a second circuit, why not use the kill switch circuit and the side-stand cut-out circuit?

that clears it up for me, and makes the module accesible. On my zzr i mounted the module under the tank but stuck to the inside of the frame. Made it difficult for any attempted thief to get to to shut it up.
just wasnt sure on space under the tank - i didnt take not when i pulled it off to fit my k & N
Cheers
