Santa Monica Pier is good for a wander, not a whole lot to do but it's a nice browse and very scenic, you could also eat while you are down there.

c'mon, show a photo to the right or left or behind you, theres much more to it than that.

Personally if i had only one night there i'd go to soak up some atmosphere, comedy store, go for a wander around dusk/early evening. The problem with the place is theres heaps to do and see and our mate has only got a matter of hours to play with in the one night. We spent a week wandering around the general area and soaked it all up. If you go to rodeo drive, you might need a crowbar to pry your missus off all the paris hilton-esque stores.

WE stopped off there for 2 hrs after a bus tour, i've got more pics amongst the data cards i have to find.
Must get that all sorted soon.

she will get quite the surprise wont she

you will know if i do it cause you will wake up in the middle of the night with a sickening feeling that something "bad" just happened

looks like its santa monica for some shopping and drinking.
hopefully might stumble accross a good metal band playing in a pub or something.
knowing my luck it will the annual santa monica transvestite festival ...

dont feel bad, i went in march/april with my mrs, and have YET to print ANY pics out, should do that sometime soon, fecking lazy arse i am

IM BACK....

ended up getting pissed in a mexican bar in santa monica for that one night.
it was cool.

it was an epic trip
flew out to denver the next day, drove to steamboat springs in a blizzard, wrong side of the road and all that
snowboarded for a week, drank a lot, drove the hire car into a snowbank whilst trying to do donuts in the car park...
got snowed in and missed flights to Vegas
made it a day later to vegas.
got hammered every night, vegas is F**king awesome.
im not much of a gambler but its still great fun.

then off to Utah for more snow action.
it was a bit boring to be honest, people not quite as friendly - still nice - but not as cool as the coloradians. Snowbird is an awesome mountain though if anyone is thinking of heading over there.
it would of been awesome on a powder day - super steep and very fast.

after that we went to san frascisco.
that is a cool city but all the drug addicts and bums bring the place down.
they are everywhere and they all are trying to scam you.
you see a guy in a wheel chair apparantly crippled and then later that night you will see him pushing that wheel chair up the street no worries at all.
we had fun there though.
