mate, you are right modern tyres don't need running in but they DO need the mould release taken off 'em ...slippery shit it is
(needed to get the 'cooked' tyre outta the mould)

I follow what you say...take it easy for 50 and then slowly
thin those chicken strips
and you will have no problems after that
