I'm going to say this once and once only...
Play nice children...
Having said that, if you find there is someone on this forum you do not agree with, or simply cannot read their posts you have two options...
1) HTFU, they have the right to free speach
2) Go to your user control panel and click on the friends and foes tab. Click 'Manage Foes', search for the user name and select them. Hey presto, you will never see a post from them again.
With the number of people now registered here it is harder for new members to fit in, and maybe harder for 'senior' members to accept change. Be mindful of others and we can continue to grow this community.
We do not need real shit fights, we already have enough fake ones being launched to amuse us all - you know who you are.

Re: So does he match Mina, or god forbib, even Neka yet?
this works a treat. I have only done it once, for a short period of time, and the *joy* and the *bliss* to see every post from the 'foe' simply blanked out from a discussion, was fantastic. I have long since removed this modification....photomike666 wrote:...... Go to your user control panel and click on the friends and foes tab. So if people are getting the shits with seeing 100 posts per day from 1 person (whoever that may be, and even if it is only 2 or 3 posts per day), then try the above mod.
Lots of forums have aggro on them at the moment, it must have been the recent full moon I reckon, its not just this place.......

Re: So does he match Mina, or god forbib, even Neka yet?
Looking in from the outside and believe me I'm no angel, Brendan I agree from what I have seen can be a bit of an annoying so and so.
He's trying so hard to fit in, to be friends, to be one of the gang, what if you were looking at this from one of the other not so good forums 'as we all say', where they all go on about 'how hard they went on their 250's on the Putty Run last week' and 'how fast they all are', they would all be saying KSRC is no different from us!!!, you can then maybe understand where he is coming from, we are a pretty mature, sensible ,cough cough, level headed bunch of guys and gals who normally look out for each other, welcome new
people with open arms, whatever their let downs.
I don't have a bike anymore and for the last (Holy Fuck that long) two years have still been made welcome, enjoyed socialising, drinking, socialising, did I say drinking, painting and assisting in fixing POS bikes! Yep, there may be a time where I pick up another set of two wheels, I like to hope so as I loooovvveee my bikes but they don't love me. Back to the point, so Brendan is different, doesn't think and tries too hard etc. You can hang a bit of shit but after a while it may startto effect this kid. I know it's hard when he keeps putting up bullshit replies but maybe we should try to ignore those and emphasise on any of the better quality ones he posts, to encourage him in the right direction. I missed seeing him on Friday, twas a shame because I was looking forward to meeting the infamous character but from what I can gather he went all right and there wasn't any drama, so it shows he may not be that bad.
Ask yourself this though, before being abrupt or rude to one of his next posts, he is a motorcyclist, he rides the roads and one thing you have to have is a clear head, how would you feel if he had an accident and got severely injured or killed? All this shit thats going around his head at the mo will not be giving him a clear mind I'm sure. It wouldn't look to clever for his mum or dad to look through his posts he had made on 'that' forum where he found all his new mates, would it.
Anyway, as I said, I'm no angel, I could probably be as guilty as anyone sometimes but maybe enough is enough. Like a dog, ignore his bad behavour and encourage good and we may end up teaching one of the newbs some valuable forum skills.
My 2c anyway
Damon

Re: So does he match Mina, or god forbib, even Neka yet?
Brendan may have typed some dribble but Ive had quite a few laughs at how he has managed to wind up Rob (robracer)!
His zx2r is his first set of wheels so just remember the excitement you all felt getting your first car/bike!
And I agree about the 250 riders talking it up a bit... Dont forget we are winding out our small motors to keep up and dont want to feel we are holding the rest of the crew back... So it feels like we are going as quick as we can!
I can't wait to have the time off to catch up with some of you for another ride... Stuck at work today on the first sunny day in Zonks and Im really pissed off!!!
