3.9s won't worry you too much either. Will have 3.47's in the bum now.
3.9's engine /trans edit , decent Zorst and ova rad cold air MAFless tune and Harrop diff plate will give you low 13's to high 12's @ 106+mph in full street trim.
Revs will still be under 2500 @ 110km and with the right cam you will be around the 10lt/100km mark highway under 130.
again FYI .
Been down the drags a few times myself @ Kwinana Motorplex WA.

Re: Neka got a new car... Smitty may be proud??
old mate at work, got vx exec with the V8 and 6 speed
he did diff gears maffless tune and cold air intake (sas at silverwater who drill under the airbox and have in intake down near the bumper.
it then made 235kw at the wheels.
he got bored after about 3000kms
i went to a dyno day with my car an noticed a monaro with a harrop blower, and he ran 11.2's in it.
so old mate got harrop blower, and harrop diff brace thingy, in aid to stop the axle tramp.
then got about 299kw at the wheels on a pretty conservative dyno.
recently got bored again, and went smaller pulley, head work, valve springs and cam.
not has 330kw at the wheels on same conservative dyno, and fuckloads of torque from about 1500 revs. its an animal!
old mates about 65 years old, does like 6 sets of rear tyres to his front ones.
he like it.

Re: Neka got a new car... Smitty may be proud??
EVERYONE needs 300kw to get to work!
A nice set of extractors into 3 inch should sound just dandy! I know it did on my old VR SS.........mixed with a chip, forged pistons, stronger valves and springs, bigger cam, cold air, quick shifter.......I'm rambling
First thing you should do tho is definatley upgrade the brakes, makes a massive difference even just for stocker. Commodores not know for their stopping ability.
Theres nothing like smoking some amateur with a sleeper too!

Re: Neka got a new car... Smitty may be proud??
A double matress fits in the back of my "yoot"no worries.
Wif the hard cover it don't get wet and no worries tryin to do a quick getaway with fogged up windows!!!Just leave her in the back to clean up and fang it
(not recommended if you want more than a 1 nighter)
Can be possie restrictive wif the cover down though
Who needs tha back seat solo cowl looks so much better
