I can't see this catching on with bikes:

But, having said that, have you guys seen the balloon tubes some dirt bike mags have been promoting? Instead of dirt bikes having one tube, they have these small ballons that sit side by side inside the tyre. You put around 12 or so into your tyre.

If one balloon gets a puncture, at least you can still keep riding.

Thats the same principle that didnt keep the Titanic afloat.

it'd be a bastard to have to fill the tyre up.

imagine getting halfway through filling the baloons and loosing track of which one you were messing with.
