g'day fellow riders [Melb]

Post by ezydeek »

i've been meaning to do an intro ages ago, but ever since i got my black 06 zx6r last year, i been having WAYYY too much fun.
anyway i've joined up this forum because most of my mate stop riding reason being.. they had a stack and too scared to jump back on... financial can't afford it and the most common excuse, whipped by the missus.
i'm 24 livin in keysborough, at the moment i work in the car component industry but most likely be outta of a job soon :( looking forward to do some more ride days with any fellow riders down South East Melb

cheers big ears

Dunno about that Poss, we Vics are a friendly bunch, no dramas there but we don't ride much anymore at all :( One of our admins (Dan) who used to be a regular rider is now a pussy whipped husband and not far from being a dad, S&W no longer has a road bike, Groggles, the_kid, Simmo and a few others are all hell bent on their racing careers to ride a bike on the road, smitty only turns up to rides in his payjamas in his ute, Ronster we barely see anymore, Rossi and Mario (the wog) you never see on their bikes, you see their bikes but always in the garage/loungeroom :)

z900/zx9 (Mel) is a very regular rider as is his missus, Mizzzzr and Strika (Marty), i'm mainly a commuter nowadays due to shift work, Stereo has kinda waned a bit and that leaves Photomike as almost the last of the mohicans, so basically there is a hard core group of 3, an occassional 4th or 5th from me, Benno or photomike and that's about the riding scene in Vic KSRC at the minute.
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

Do we need help.gif with throttle control?? :? given the amount of people coming off their steeds... maybe a thread about riders and their problems... (riding problems!! ) ...hmmmm .. 'DIY how to fix it thread' ?? ... of course it would be open season for suggestions

ezydeek - most of my mate stop riding reason being.. they had a stack and too scared to jump back on... financial can't afford it and the most common excuse, whipped by the missus.

 Hey i have a suggestion ezydeek.. The ones too scared to jump to jump back on doo a deal with the ones that cant afford it and why not ask those "Mates" (as you so eloquently put it) "whipped by the missus" to get their better halves to get thier licences or go pillion???
